From my experiments with the green screen I've come to the conclusion that I like the work with a group of creatures. Already equipped with 3 sets of arm cones I plan to make 2 more facial cones. I have the idea to create a down word facing cone although Its a minor change to the original cone piece it automatically changes the stigma of what animal we identify with it. More like a form of bird of elephant or perhaps a rhino? for the other cone I simply made a short snout. It now has the proportions similar to a dog or pig. Having these different varying features broadens the representation of animal.
I spent the last few days wet felting and constructing the cones. Skill whist I've noticed that the felt I make now is much tighter the material more flat and consistent, which shows I have improved.
The cones themselves look somewhat effective, I feel to truly evaluate this I need to place them in the context of a performance. However I still think I prefer the face cone as I enjoy its consistency in form with the hand cones.
